On the hour, every hour, from 7am to 1am today. I would say "Oh dear" but given the dearth of anything else decent I watched parts of 4 different ones.
I also watched the penalties of doom. It was all over from when they started to "play for penalties", wasn't it?! England CAN'T win on penalties!

it was horrible and gutwrenchingly excruciating, especially seeing as Agassi AND Roddick lost the same day. But I guess it also meant Murray kept the dream alive :P until today at least... sigh. It's really kind of depressing that we only started playing well after we became ten men - we're really good in our heroic underdog role aren't we. The heroic underdog that gets pipped to the post once again. Sigh. Although poland, how lame, could not score even though we were a man down for an hour. Patheticness!
