Driving Down the Legs
Quote of the moment:
"A "massive amount of work" remains to be done to close the pay gap between men and women, Tony Blair has said." - BBC News.
Diddums. Taking university graduates as an example, subjects with a low average starting pay are dominated by women and subjects with a high starting pay are dominated by men. There may be more women at university than men, but engineering graduates start on 1.5 times the average pay of english graduates. The important point is that those are the degrees (and presumably career opportunities) they wanted.
Damn fine headwear on display there
The previous photo is us as well and the one before that is the Novice Men's 1st VIII. The race went amazingly fast and felt half as long as doing the same distance on an ergo. I wasn't really tired at the finish, just aching in my legs and feathering (left, because I'm bow side) wrist. The cramp in my right calf when I got out of the boat might have argued against that motion.

:O:O:O That's OSSUM:D
uorphwr = ur phwor
And that "ur phwor" was not a statement.. Well, it was a statement, but it was more me trying to say blogger was trying to make a statement.. About Will.
On another note.. So what if guys have better jobs with better pay? As long as guys are willing to support girls financially (and emotionally, obviously), then I'm fine with that.
And also as long as they're doing more work. I mean, two people doing the same job, but the guy gets paid more than the girl - that's unexceptable. But if it's a better job, then fine.
Then again, why did he get the better job? Coz his boss is an sexist piece of turd? Fine. I don't care. Just as long as I don't have to be "polite" to the boss on social occasions.
Why does it matter if the guy's getting paid more? I mean. We girls all expect a lot more from guys than guys expect from girls. Eg, we expect guys to open doors for us or something silly and nice like that. I've never seen a guy who expected a girl to open the door for him. Oh, wait. Jules. Hmm. But no, that's just how it works, y'know?
IUO. GRRR. WOMEN:@ So DAMN demanding and "oh you're picking on me coz I'm a woman." Get OVER yourself.
Yes. I am still female, and yes, I am like that sometimes too. At least I recognise it. Maybe not at the time.. But eventually.
